When Urban Decay announced a few weeks ago that they were collaborating with Gwen Stefani, I think a lot of us did a sneaky little celebration dance at our desks (just me?). As a long term fan of Gwen and Urban Decay, it seemed like one of those magical partnerships that was going to turn out to be pretty epic.
The limited edition, 15 pan eye shadow palette launches on 22nd November exclusively on the Urban Decay website so set your alarms early if you want one as I suspect this will sell out pretty damn quick.
It features 12 new shades and 3 of Gwen's favourites from the Urban Decay range. It's pretty heavy on neutrals (thanks Gwen, love you even more) with a couple of jewel tones thrown in to the mix. Gwen has been heavily involved in the whole process, even naming most of the shades, many of which are inspired by her music and love of makeup (Harajuku, 1987 and Bathwater for example).
The packaging itself looks stunning from the photos I've seen. It's totally different from the normal Urban Decay palettes with antique gold accents and a black and white design. I suspect that regardless of if you're a Gwen Stefani fan you'll love this palette - the shades look incredibly wearable and something any nude shadow lover would adore.
The Gwen Stefani palette will launch on 22nd November and costs £40. Set those alarm clocks now!
