The cream blushers are fantastic as always - Topshop make some amazing formula blushers and if you've not tried one before I really urge you to do so. This shade is called Pulse and is a soft peachy shade infused with golden highlights. It's quite sheer on application and almost enters highlighter territory rather than traditional blusher, but a quick swipe of this on cheekbones will leave you with a natural sheen with just a hint of shimmer.
The lipsticks also live up to expectations - this gorgeous plum shade called Drive is perfect for autumn and the metallic sheen to it is less reminiscent of 90s Heather Shimmer and more high end satin. The colour looks pretty bold in the tube but can be dabbed on to create a soft stain or layered up into a serious pop of colour. The formula is long-wearing and non-drying and is something that can easily be worn all day long.
Both items are under £10 each - the lipstick is £8 and blusher £7. There are a couple of other shades of lipsticks and blushers in the collection to choose from, as well as 4 metallic nail polishes at just £5 each.
The Metallics are a limited edition collection, and can be found online from Topshop and in beauty sections of their larger stores. I'm always really impressed every time I use Topshop makeup and if you've not tried it before, why not treat yourself next time you're popping in. I promise you won't regret it!
Have you tried Topshop makeup before? What do you think of these metallic shades?
