For summer 2014, they're releasing a limited edition duo fibre brush set*. These use a mix of black and white fibres that can work with cream, powder and liquid products - making them true multi-taskers.
Inside the set is a large face brush - great for blending powders, or for a gentle application of all over colour; a contour brush - perfect for contouring and scuplting; and an eye brush - for washes of colour on the eyes and gentle blending.
Like other Real Techniques brushes I've tried, these are all super soft to the touch and use cruelty-free synthetic taklon bristles. They wash up well, and don't shed bristles while washing or during makeup application.
I absolutely love this set and can see it becoming a firm favourite in my brush pot, however, the only downside to it for me is that the brushes contained inside the set are the same as last year's limited edition kit. The colour of the handles has changed, but the actual brushes remain the same, so if you bought the kit last year, you may not need to get this one too. It would be good to see a few different brush styles if they decide to bring out another limited edition kit next year, but it definitely won't stop me using these to death in the meantime!
The duo-fibre collection will be launching in late June/early July and will be exclusive to Superdrug. It will cost £20.99, which I think is pretty good value for three good quality makeup brushes.
Do you like the look of this brush kit? Have you tried Real Techniques before?
