B Stunning Vibrant Eye Shimmer Review

B. is a relatively new, own brand range that Superdrug launched last year. The B. range concentrates on offering quality cosmetics at drug store prices, in easy to wear colours. All of their products are cruelty-free, suitable for vegans and paraben-free.

B. Stunning* are cream shadows, and come in a range 10 gorgeous shades. They have everything from simple nudes, right through to vibrant purples, greens and bronzes. All are shot through with a subtle shimmer and are very flattering when worn.

They apply really easily using a small eye shadow brush, and are very easy to blend. I've been using the lighter goldy colour (Lizzie) as a base, and then adding a small amount of the darker shade (Rockstar) to the crease for a soft, smokey effect, which works well for daytime. The color is buildable, and you can get a really dramatic finish if you want to create a stronger look. You do need to be a little careful when dabbing your brush into the pot, as the texture is quite soft and you could pick up some excess product, but this is no different from most of the other cream shadows I've used before.

As cream shadows go, these last pretty well on the lids without fading or creasing. I get around 8 hours wear without a primer before needing a little top-up, easily lasting me through a day at work.

At £6.99, I think that these are a bit of a bargain (they're also a third off at the moment, so just over £4.50)! They remind me of the Dior cream shadows that launched a few months ago, but with a much lower price tag. I will definitely be trying some more shades in the future and also taking a better look at the rest of the B. range.
