Lady Boys of Bangkok Halloween makeup challenge

Halloween is fast approaching and if like me, you enjoy a spot of fancy dress, it's a good chance to experiment with makeup and try something new.

I was really excited when I was picked to do a Halloween look as part of a Lady Boys of Bangkok challenge - they look so glam, and I wanted to do something to channel that, but with a gothic twist.

Stargazer kindly provided some makeup for the challenge and I decided to go for something I thought would work well for anyone dressing up as a witch.

I created my look with some Stargazer lace eye tattoos, my Urban Decay Smoked palette and a dark brow pen. As someone with naturally blond eyebrows, it was quite fun to see how I looked with dark, bold brows, and I thought it really helped bring the look together.

On my lips, I decided to create a two tone effect, using a Stargazer black lipstick, with a hot pink Urban Decay shade in the centre. When merged together, the two actually formed a custom purple colour in the centre of my lips. 

I'm quite pleased with this look. I think I'll be doing some more before Halloween comes along, so keep your eyes peeled.
