Yes it can be done. A bright lip can look terrifying especially when your skin tone is more Caspar than bronzed, but I promise you, it really can work.
My favourite lip colours for pale skin are: Revlon Lovesick lip balm stain, Lord & Berry shining lipstick 20100 Fucsia*, Hourglass Raven liquid lipstick, Maybelline Colour Sensational Fuchsia Flash and MAC Pink Pigeon, .
It can take a bit of trial and error to find the perfect shade, but I find that blue based tones work well on paler skin, so look for true reds and hot pinks and avoid anything with a seriously orange base. One other bonus of blue based lipsticks is that they can help teeth look a little whiter, which is never a bad thing!
These shades may seem scary at first, but I promise you, they do get quite addictive!
