The Candy Collection is the latest limited edition series from Sleek makeup. I bought a few bits on a recent trip to Superdrug after being lured in by the pretty packaging, and today I wanted to share the Blush by 3 with you.
Sweet Cheeks is a limited edition version of their standard 'Blush by 3' palettes. It contains 3 different toned blushers, with a variety of powder and cream formulas.
Inside Sweet Cheeks is one cream blusher and two powders (one shimmer, one matte), all in varying shades of bright pink. The shade names are in keeping with the candy theme: Cupcake (cream), Dollymix (shimmer) and Candy Floss (matte), and sound good enough to eat!

I find Sleek make up to be really good quality for the price, and this palette is no exception. The blushers are all highly pigmented, apply easily and blend out to a long-lasting finish.
I think my favourite of the three is the central blush (Dollymix - the lighter shade really epitomises 'candy' style makeup to me and I think this looks most natural on paler complexions.
Despite the bright shades in the pan, all three are definitely wearable - just build up colour slowly and blend as you go. I prefer to apply the cream blush using my fingers as I feel that this gives the best finish, but tend to go with a Real Techniques brush for the powders.
The Candy collection is limited edition, so if you have your eye on this, go now! It retails at £9.99 and can be found in store and online from Superdrug, or direct from the Sleek website.
Ooh pretty colours! x
ReplyDeleteI really love the shades in this palette, I'll probably give in and buy it at some stage. Though I've gone off powder blushers a bit, think I'd prefer if they were all cream!

ReplyDeleteI loved the packaging for this, was a shame that the actual palette casings didn't have the design, I would of loved that. Definitely a good one for pale skin tones, I found I had to build up with these but it's a good thing that it's build-able xo
