Spring nail picks

Spring has finally sprung, and for me that means choosing some new, more summery nail polishes. I'm not really a pastel traditionalist, preferring bright neons most of the time, but I've chosen my current top picks below.

Barry M Gelly nail paint Prickly Pear - These hi shine polishes give a great gloss and the lilac colour is really pretty for spring. I'll be wearing this one to work for a more subtle nail look.

GOSH SS13 edition Venus - A bright turquoise shade when on the nails, I can tell I'll be using this one all summer long. It lasts for days without chipping, and for those of you that tan, I think this will look great against bronzed skin.

Ruby Wing colour changing polish Moonshine - Now that the sun has made an appearance, it seems only right to bring this polish out. It changes colour in the sun, making it perfect for those cheeky afternoons in the beer garden (I'm being optimistic, ok?).

Mavala Lemon Cream - the most pastel of yellows, this is unlike any other colour in my polish collection. It's soft, and yet has a real ring of a 60s summer about it.

Sinful Colors hot pink polish - I recently bought this on a whim in Boots as the range is £1.99 (bargain!). I LOVE a bright pink polish and this one will really wake my nails up!

Models Own Ice Neon in Pink Punch - These semi-matte neon shades from Models Own are my current favourites. I've been wearing this shade obsessively for the past week trying to get the sun to come out and it seems to have worked. I think they look best with a glossy top coat, but this shade is seriously bright whatever.

So those are my current polish picks. What's your favourite?
