Like a lot of people, I like buying things. It doesn't matter if it's makeup, skin care or hair products, I just like trying new things.
This has led me to have an ever increasing stash and a feeling that I'm getting a bit overwhelmed.
So I've decided to set myself a money saving exercise. It's not a spending ban, but for every product I use up, going to put money aside and later next year, treat myself to something nice.
I've decided to save:
50p for every small travel size or sample size product
£1 for full size products
£2 for expensive items such as perfumes.
I'm hoping that incentivising myself will give me the focus I need in order to cut down on my stash and use up some of the drawers full of products in my bathroom!
I'll keep you posted on how I'm doing, and hopefully my monthly empties posts will start looking a lot fuller!
