I decided to make an early start on my Christmas shopping this weekend, and along with a few pressies, I picked up some things I've been wanting to try for a while.
YSL faux cils mascara set - I was recommended this mascara on twitter and as there was 10% off this weekend in John Lewis, now seemed like a good time to try it out. The lovely assistant also gave me a perfume sample and some sachets of their new serum.
Lush golden wonder bath bomb - the last time I used a Lush bath bomb must have been over 10 years ago (I'm a shower girl!) but this looked so pretty and I loved the fact it rattles when you shake it :)
Lush Mint Julips lip scrub - I was planning to get the popcorn flavour, but after smelling this minty chocolate one I changed my mind!
Nail art - I saw these when shopping in Topshop for a Christmas present and could resist. Not sure how easy they will be to use but I'm going to give it a good go!
Now onto my two favourites:
Aldi Lacura Wrinkle Fix - this £4.99 bargain seems to be very similar to the very expensive Rodial Glamoxy Snake serum. I'm looking forward to trying this and seeing what effect it has my little fine lines.
Aldi Lacura concealer pen - again, hailed as the £3.59 version of YSL's Touche Eclat I can't wait to see how it performs.
