Not one for missing a freebie, I went down to the event, just off Tottenham Court Road in London, in my lunch break.
There was quite a queue already, so I eagerly awaited my turn and soon got to play with the foundation matching app.
It asked questions about your skin tone, whether you liked to wear bright colours, favourite make-up shades etc., before matching you up with your 'perfect' foundation shade.
Unsurprisingly, I came out as the palest one - 010 Porcelain. The lovely ladies handed me over a full-sized bottle of the foundation to try at home, along with a little goody bag as I was one of the first 50 to arrive.
I've never tried a Rimmel foundation before so am really looking forward to giving this one a go. I found using the app a fun way of matching you up to your foundation shade, but for me, nothing quite beats testing it out first.
I'll definitely be keeping my eyes on Twitter for future events!
