After visiting Beauty Mart in Harvey Nichols London and finding that they stocked it, I decided to give it a go and see what all the hype was about.
I found it really easy to use, and did a good job of getting off my liquid liner and mascara. The only thing was, I found that it dried out my eyelids and left them a little red.
I also tried it out on my face to remove my foundation before cleansing and again, it did a great job, but my skin felt a little dry afterwards.
It definitely did the job it promised to, but it is very clearly a makeup remover, not a cleanser. If that's what you're after and don't have dry skin, then I think this will be perfect.
Great review! Love your blog :)
ReplyDeleteWould love you to check out mine if you have a minute, and maybe follow each other if you like?

ReplyDeleteI have such a love/hate relationship with this. It's a shame it didn't work for you. x
ReplyDeleteI think a lot of people do. It definitely did what it promised, my eyes are obviously just super sensitive!
DeleteI think this is the best review I have seen of this product. I like that you pointed out that this is a make up remover and not a cleanser. It is so easy to get swept up in hype surrounding a product, but all that really matters is how it works for you. I have no doubt that this is a perfectly good make up remover, but it dried my skin too. I did not like it round my eyes.
ReplyDeleteThanks - I think people forget that it's not meant to be a cleanser, it just 'lifts' your makeup off. I'm glad it's not just me that found it a little drying!
DeleteYou can get the huge 500ml on ebay for almost half the price of the 125ml at beautymart !
